While I was gaining many useful design skills working in the corporate world I was also honing my talents as a photographer in the "fun" world - two very good things that benefit an artist in need. Attending the Louisville School of Art in Kentucky during my "earlier" years didn't hurt either.
After a few years of shooting the traditional landscapes, portraits and weddings, I zeroed in on macro photography and started showing my collections in galleries. That's were I met my new best friends - other artists.
To shorten this story up a bit, I started photographing my new friends' artwork.....and now that's all I do because I retired from the "other" world.
AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!
I work with many, many artists in the mid-south area, helping them present their work professionally.
